The second part of Sudha Jamthe’s and my tmeet project was released today: the tmeet iPhone app, a little iPhone accessory that quickly posts your current location to twitter using a tmeet.me URL.
The app has a single screen. Use the form to enter your twitter id, password (stored in the keychain), and an optional message, then press the “tmeet me” button and your message and location is posted.
Two more notes:
- Use the quick! button to quickly repost your recent tmeets.
- To send a direct private message to one of your Twitter followers, just begin your tmeet with “d username” where username is your friend’s Twitter id.
