January 10, 2009 — iphone, app store, obama
After over 16 weeks in review, I today received word that my
Obama! iPhone app has been approved for sale. Thanks to Dave Counts for artwork, my kids Brian, Michael, and Rebecca for puzzles and quote research, and the final push from the app review team to make this available in time to celebrate the inauguration of a new era.
See Obama! in the App Store.

Congratulations, Tim! The longest review process we had to go through was 5 weeks, so I cannot begin to imagine how you must feel after 16 long, long weeks!
Good luck with the app :)
It looks like the perfect timing. Maybe the team at Apple did this on purpose: optimizing sales. Also, your app contains many sentences, and they might have needed the time to go over them to make sure they didn’t contain profanities? My game PopMath was for example much simpler, and took only 2 days to review by the apple team. Laurent.
