I’m back home after spending yesterday with my family on the Santa Cruz boardwalk. While we were getting tossed around on the rides, someone found a URL that crashed NuBlog (such a dumb name—someone please suggest a replacement), and that had my blog down for the afternoon.
Many thanks to Wolf Rentzsch for giving me the chance to speak at C4 [1], and to everyone for all the kind words, backchannel chatter, and blog coverage.
Patrick’s and Alex’s reviews were the most detailed—and gratifying, but I’ve also found a few others that had some encouraging things to say, and I appreciate all the posts.
Also, I finally got a chance to read the twitter logs. You guys really were paying attention. durin42 caught my temporary 2 character password (“c4”), kamitchell picked up that my build tool is called “nuke” (a nuclear spin on Ruby’s “rake”; btw, the puns can get a lot worse), and, Colin, if we ever have a Nu conference, you are in charge of t-shirts.

Gruber, you are a popular guy. You’ve been sending me a scary amount of traffic. Thanks for the review.
